Rainy Day.....

Hello again peeps!!

Now no laughing allowed from my friends who all know that I am completely addicted to digital papers but......my printer hath died!!!!!! argghhhhhhhh!!! DH is currently standing over it and garbling many techie things..... of which I have no clue what they mean.... but I am diligently nodding, saying mmmmm and being wifely supportive!!!

So when my gorgeous new Rainy Day digi from Krista plopped into my emails I was fine printing her out in black, phew!! and for once there is not a DP in sight on my card!! go Lou!!!

There is,however, oodles of antique photo distress ink, stamping and clear heat embossing on it with a sprinkling of gorgeous ribbon and a few pearls!!!!

Isn't she gorgeous all dressed up in her fall colours?? I used a whole bundle of promarkers for this one!!
the orangey colours are...apricot, honeycomb,ginger and burnt orange
browns are... terracotta,henna and burnt umber
skin- blush, peach and soft peach
          hair- vanilla,putty and caramel
          eyes-denim blue

Right off to make fabby DH a cuppa and hope he can sort my printer out before I get shakes of withdrawal.........

Huge hugs Lou xxxx

One layer quicky cards!!

Hello peeps!!

How is everyone's sunday going? Mine is fab. Mo woke up later again this morning, a lovely 6:40am this morning, its so nice to have that extra few minutes in bed.
I got some housework done and Mo and Scott went off to the driving range to play a bit of golf so I got busy on playing around with my Tiddly inks images!!!

I wanted to play with the new Hi There girl and boy so armed myself with paintshop and a couple of my old nitwits and got to work on some one layer cards for a change, you know the ones where you play around then press print and they are done!!! yey!!! flat for postage!!!

I placed all my layers together, merged and then added the Hi There girl and boy .png's to each card. They come out white when I print them so I can then promarker them up however I fancy. I love cards like this to ease myself into a crafting morning, both of these were finished in 20 mins flat!! lurvely!!!!

So there we go! a couple of Lou quickies!!! off to get messy again now in my craft room as Mo is pootling around outside at the bottom of the drive with his scooter and a doctors dressing up kit!! he is the height of fashion my boy!!! romfl!!!

huge hugs Lou xxxx
