Back 2 school blues!!

 Papers- Bazzill School Days.
Die-Namics- mft lollipop additions love stamp set.
mft gift card stamp set.
mft gift card pocket vertical.
mft by the letters.
Twine- Divine Twine solid blue.

Morning Peeps! It's my posty day over on the DTDF inspiration blog and its back to school day here in Lincolnshire after a wonderful half term break ( or even longer for my little guy with being off school sick for the week before half term too...sigh!!) we got the results from his blood tests and he has low Vitamin D so we have some drops to top him up that will take a couple of weeks to start working but at least he will be on the mend. Until then we get to look forward to more aching soreness and low concentration from the little guy but his ultrasound on his tummy is on the 16th march so maybe we will know a little more then!

So I decided to make him a little card to cheer him up in the morning. I used a whole tonne of my fav dies and papers for this one, all the links are under the top piccy.

I also cut a little tag to pop out of the pocket from the scraps of paper I had left and decorated it with some stamps.

Mo takes a 'mummy snuggle' to school everyday so I stamped them onto the back of the tag so he can pop it in his trouser pocket. I coloured the little heart blue because blue is his favourite colour!

I so hope this card makes my little guy smile this morning because it totally breaks my heart to see him so sad and panicky and the extra time off from being sick has not helped us at all today :(

Right, gotta go, cuppa required as Mo and I are on breakfast buddy duty and we need to get a whole lot of snuggling in before school so its cuppa and CITV on the settee for this mamma!!!

have a great day peeps,
huge hugs Lou xxx

Little Bear...

What I love about this  Little Bear is that it is perfect for so many different occasions. I used the super cute sentiment that accompanies the image as well.  And even more exciting, Christy will be giving away your choice of any little to one lucky commenter over on the Tiddly Inks blog, more on that in a min!!!

Did you know that there is a whole set of these little cuties?  You can check them all out HERE.  All are perfect for our Critter's on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog soooo........

And just to help you get there that entire sentence is a link!! he he he!!

Here's a couple more makes I have done with them in the past.....

awwwww they are all just way too cute and totally some of my absolute favs from the Tiddly Inks shop, I love them!!  Right then!! I must get ready for work! Little Mo has a couple of daddy days (...and I am totally jealous, I miss my little man so much when he is on school holidays and I am at work :( ) so I will be popping in on ya'll once I have had tea tonight!!

You can't beat a little LOTV for a christening!!

Afternoon Peeps!!

I am flying in a little late this today because its been a busy one!! First I had to take the little guy to the surgery for his blood test. He was so scared last night and all jittery this morning and when we went in he still wasn't sure so he sat on my lap with his toy dog, Dylan (yup, that dog still goes everywhere with us!!!) The nurse explained what she was going to do and he got all teary but sat there as good as gold as she filled up 3 little pots of his blood. He was awesome, I was s proud and the nurse was amazed, she said she didn't think he would do that well and she was so pleased she drew a big smiley face on his dressing. Mo loved that. I took him to the toy shop to spend his pocket money from his nannie's and then we met daddy at McDonald's for lunch and all had a cheeseburger happy meal.

When we got home I had a christening card to make so I got on with that while the little guy rested with a film, he is so into Journey to the centre  of the earth and Journey 2 at the minute!!

I love to use LOTV's christening baby for christening cards, its just the most perfect stamp with that beautiful baby and church window and I love it. I coloured it up with my promarkers and layered up a cute little card. Then I added a little personalised oval. Too cute!!

Here's the brave little guy when we came out of the toy shop showing off his dressing with a huge smile drawn onto it by the nurse.....

The next job on our list was a haircut for the little guy as his fringe was getting in his eyes, he was adamant he was only having the fringe cut but luckily his hairdresser is fabulous and she trimmed his fringe and then thinned his hair out so he didn't loose any of the length he loves so its been an all round fab day for him really. Here is a piccy of my best creation yet!!!
Awwww, he's so sweet!! and its so nice to see a little colour back in his cheeks...we just need to work on those huge black rings under his eyes before school next week!!

So a fab day all round really!! right got to go and cook spag bol for tea!

thank you for popping in on me! huge hugs Lou xxx

Tiddly Inks challenge 104- Critters!!

Morning Peeps!!!
wohoooooo!! its Tiddly Tuesday!! that means its time for a super fun new challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and this week we want to see....
Critters!!
yup, use any little Tiddly Inks Critter/ Animal on your makes this week! and please remember you must use a Tiddly Inks image on your creation!!

I absolutely love all things spooky so I had to go with one of the awesome clear stamp sets from Tiddly Inks...
I just love the rook and those super cute spiders!! and for the sentiment I headed straight to another fav clear stamp set Bugs n Kisses.
Well, how could I not on a spooky critters card?!!! its just perfect!!

I paper pieced her dress and hat and when I coloured her up I added a good bit of bling to her hair and rook using my copic spicas, they are so awesome for bling!!!

Right, time for another cuppa I think. I love half term with my little guy. We can just take it easy and let the day roll however we fancy. Its kinda frosty and foggy here this morning so I am hoping by the time the sun rises it will be a bright and shiny day so we can take a walk somewhere with the dog. Mo slept in until 6:10am this morning so he is definitely on the mend which is just lovely, though he is all bunged up and icky snotty this morning so the vicks vapo rib will be getting good use today!!!!

Have an awesome day everyone and don't forget to pop in on the Tiddly Inkers over on the challenge blog to see what cute critter creations they have whipped up for you all!!

Huge hugs Lou xx

I couldn't help but squeeze in a little exotic butterfly to rest on the flower too!

Right, got to get me moving! Mo and I are popping down to see my big sister and her children today and take the furball princess for a walk around the park near my sisters house. Scott,Mo and I went yesterday and it was gorgeous, its a bit chillier today and the sun hasn't made an appearance yet but Mo has already decided on tree climbing so he's not too bothered!! then this afternoon we have another appointment with the DR to see what we need to do next with the little man! he is waiting for an ultrasound on his tummy and maybe some blood tests but he has picked up an awful lot over the last couple of days so its lovely to see him being smiley!!

Right, time to get myself another cuppa ( spilt first one all over the table and ended up in tears because I am so exhausted!! I am seriously emotional when I am tired!! and we have all been up since 2:30am with a poorly Mo) no test results yet but this is how this mornings attempt to call the docs went ( my dear bloggy friend Fluff will know this routine well!!) ..... I pick up the phone at 8am and select the Drs phone number....

thankyou for calling, your call is in a queue and will be answered shortly....please continue to hold, your call will be answered shortly.......
gotta love ringing the doctors.....
6 minutes later I am still holding,....(wondering what excatly I should hold on to and seriously contemplating the Drs neck?.....) and on the 7th minute an appointment was created......yeah I know its not quite the same as God resting on the 7th day but the relief of an appointment kinda feels the same.....!

So I am hoping for a little bit of relief for my little guy today......( preferably in the form of a huge snooze on the settee.........)

Have an awesome valentines day my gorgeous bloggy buddies,
Thank you for popping in on me, Huge hugs Lou xxx

Cheekies!!

image- (Retired) Cheekies from Pink Petticoat.
black lace from my stash.

Morning Peeps!!!

I am hoping I manage to write a legible blog post this morning because I've been up with the mo-ster in the night and my first 2 cuppa's of the morning haven't quite touched the surface yet! romfl!!

So today I am sharing a little valentines make with you. A friend asked me for a card for her hubby as its her first married valentines day, awwww!! I bought this 'Cheekies' set from Pink Petticoat a few years ago and it has since retired but oh boy do I still love it to bits!! its just perfect for valentines day too!!

I coloured up the basque and pants with cool grey 3-5 promarkers and there is a lovely bit of glitz on it too but I couldn't get that to shop up too well (...well, at all really!!) in the photo!

And I needed a cheeky little sentiment inside too.......

so that's me for today peeps!! today I will be waiting for the Dr to ring and tell us the results from Mo's urine test. She said she wouldn't be able to give him some antibiotics for his infection until she knew where it was coming from and he has a UTI too so its all been great fun.........not!! its so hard trying to explain to an 8 yr old why you can't make his pain and poorlies go away :( and his little mouth (....or quite big mouth when he is crying...!!) is full of ulcers.

Have a totally wonderful day peeps, thank you for popping in on me
huge hugs Lou xxx

Stamp set- Everyday Magic.
Morning Peeps!!
I am so excited to share the new release clear stamps from Tiddly Inks with you this morning....I have been counting down the minutes to getting my blog post done this morning until I could see them all in the shop ( ..especially as little Mo and I have been up since 1:30am because he is sick again...grrrrrr!!!!)

I loved every one of these new releases and had so much fun making some bits to show them off to you all. The other gorgeous Tiddly Inkers have been busy too so here's a link to all their blogs if you fancy noseying in on the gorgeousness!!!

I love how much versatility Christy has, we go from the gorgeous  Everyday Magic fairy above to some really great steampunky/victorian feeling stamp sets with the Stylish Friendand Grow Old Friendthen onto the super cute mini and many friends set....LOVE THEM ALL!! (...got to get me that mini and many friends set in my basket so save one for me please guys!!)

Here's a super cute treat bag, I love making these!! here's a link to the tutorial I followed so you can knock up some of your own!

Stamp set- Stylish Friends.

and my last make with them for you is this wooden plaque...
Stamp set- Grow Old Friends.

And here's a little tutorial I made for you all so you can see the work in progress of this gorgeous little hanging wooden plaque, I so loved making this,it was nice to jump out of my comfort zone and embrace a new media!

and so to remind you of all the gorgeous new sets here's some piccies (all linked in to their home in the shop of course...)

Squuuuuuueeeee! I so love them all!! I just need to get me some playtime with the mini and many friends set when Mo is a bit better.

Right time for me to go and sort out this little guy. I need to get his temp down from the 40°C it has been all night and get him drinking a bit more than he is before doing that lovely chore of trying to get through to the Drs surgery to get an appointment....I think they may even have a couple of chairs reserved for our use after all the times we've been just recently. I had a mummy date planned with one of my friends today so I am sad I cannot go but this little guy comes first and he needs major snugglies with mummy! and oh my, this will make you all laugh!!.....

I so love my night time conversations with Mo. Yetsreday evening he had a temp of 38.4 again so I gave him some calpol and he settled off. I went up to check it again at about 10pm and it had gone down a little, the conversation went..

Mummy- "oh mosey pickle why do you keep getting all hot and tempy?"

Sleepy no eyes open Mo replies - " probably because you fart a lot mummy" then rolls over and snuggles into his pillow...

Sigh!!!!!

Thank you for popping in on me today!!
huge hugs Lou xxxx and smaller feverish hugs from Mo!!!

I'm Raptor Round Your Finger!!!

Morning Peeps!!
Its my day to post over on the DTDF inspiration blog so to cheer up your monday morning  I thought I'd post him here too!! awwwww isn't he just adorable??!! I love him to bits!!! I had so much fun pootling in my craft room making this little card yesterday afternoon.

I loved the look of the First Edition Blank Canvas papers I chose, the green one looks all scaly and the yellow one is just gorgeous!! I edged them all with Vintage Photo distress ink. ( well ya'll know I simply cannot resist a good old edgey ink!!!)

Now for that little cutie!! He is coloured up with my promarkers. I dotted my blender pen all over him to get some cute looking raptor skin look going on and I did a little stippling around the edges of him too. Then cut him out using those awesome rounded banner stax.

I popped his little cuteness on the inside of the card too and totally forgot to take a piccy until I remebered as I was writing this post.....Doh!! so I will pop a piccy of it on later!!

He totally reminds me of my own gorgeous little raptor.....
so he might be getting this little card!!

So as you can see I am loving pootling through my latest DT box from the gorgeous Tracy Kendall over at Dies To Die For!!

Challenges I am entering with this card are...

Its just me, Mo and the furball princess this morning as Mo's little breakfast buddy is being taken to school club by her mummy this week. Mo is a mix of missing her and enjoying a bit of mummy to himself in a morning!! little monkey!!! he keeps asking "when is Sophia coming?" quickly followed by "oooh lets have another snuggly mummy" !!! though I don't mind the snugglies one little bit!!

Right time for a cuppa and some nutella on oaty toast...mmmmmm...yummy!!

Thank you so much for popping in on little ole me!!

(oooh and while I remember I fixed my comments as my gorgeous Pops let me know they were broked a bit, so you should be able to leave comments now without having to write them 2 or 3 times...though I have to admit I was tempted to post all your repeat comments peeps to make me feel more loved!!!!romfl!!!)
