Morning peeps!! Welcome to the Tiddly Inks Halloween Blog Hop!  Today, the Tiddly Inkers are celebrating our favorite time of year with a beautiful and fun hop for all of you!!

There are many blogs along the way and we'd love for you to leave a comment on each blog.  Leaving a comment will make you eligible for a chance to win a most fabulous prize; a $10 gift certificate to anything digital in our store!  The winner will be announced on November 3rd!

Along the way you will see a number of NEW Tiddly images you've never seen before.  It's a bit of a sneak peak as the release isn't until tomorrow.  Make sure to join us back on the Tiddly Inks blog tomorrow for the new release and a chance at winning your choice of one of the new digital stamps!!!

For my card I used the stunning Gossmere, she is an older Tiddly Inks image but she is from one of my absolute favourite image sets Christy has done, the gothic ones, I love them! can't get enough of them...need some more Boss...hint hint...  ;)

I went for making a bit of a scene with some more of the fabulous Tando Creative shapes my friend Lythan sent me and painted the skelly with glow in the dark paint again! Mo decided it should be a girlie skelly so we added a bow and a boo tag to her head!! he he he!!

There's another piccy down at the bottom that shows her bling off a bit more and how skelly is kinda shiny!!!
So!! now its time to hop hop hop!!! have fun!!

I love you Rabbit.....

Morning everyone!

I haven't done a Gorjuss make in a little while so I decided it was time to get on that on saturday and had a wonderful time playing in my craft room and making this.

I have had this stamp for ages and not inked it up so I was really pleased to have a play. The bunny is coloured up to match the colours of my friend Charlotte's bunny who sadly died last week :( this is the gorgeous Bella....
But I didn't want it to be a card that just got put aside because it wasn't multi function!! so I turned it into.... a desk calendar!!
Charlotte really liked it and sent me a message to say she is going to pop it on her desk at work and that Bella often came up to her the same way as the bunny in the picture. Its so nice to just make a little surprise for your friends.
So, there have been tears and sicky tummy feelings this morning...and that was just me!!! the little guy however, he seems quite excited about his first day at his new school! ( ...and thanks to Mr clock change he has been ready since 5:10am.........) so I am super hopeful he will have a wonderful first day  today!
please excuse my rubbishy phone camera!!! I love how he has had his backpack on a while and it is totally empty!!!!!

Right got to go! I have a cheesy sandwich to make for a little guys pack up!!

Have a great day everyone!

So its totally raining here today so Mo and I have been snuggled up this morning watching The Muppets Christmas Carol. He LOVES this film! we watched it last night too but in the world of Mo you can never watch something too much! Now the spirit of Christmas's future always spooks him out but I am not complaining because it means I get extra smooch time!!

Saturated Canary challenge 55- Alter Something!!

Stamp- Tawny.
Papers- Prima Blooming retro 'Apple Tree'

Afternoon Peeps!! its time for a new challenge over on the Saturated Canary challenge blog and this week its a super fun one chosen by moi!!! :)

The theme for Challenge 55 is.....

"Alter Something"
so let yourself go wild using any SC image to alter something!!
think journals, tin cans, candles etc!!

Now for the details....

You must use either a:
Saturated Canary Digi
Saturated Canary rubber stamp,
or Simply Sassy rubber stamp

I went for a little diary makeover for mine and stamped out the super cute 'Tawny' stamp. I coloured her up with my promarkers and then fussy cut around her, I LOVE that bear hat!! I so want one!!! he he he!!!

Then all I had to do was a little die cutting and gluing onto the front of the diary. I kept it quite simple since its a diary and will probably be going in and out of someones bag so I though flowers and stuff would just rip off!!

I did give it a really good spray with my crafters companion spray and shine to protect it, I love that stuff!!!

Right got to go get myself busy. Mo has a buddy here to play with and I have the worlds biggest pile of ironing to get stuck into! but I don't mind that one little bit, I love it! its that gorgeous warm soapy softener smell and watching those creases just slip away, love it!

Thank you for popping in

Beautiful World......

Image- Beautiful World.

Hiyah guys!!!

I'm back in with post for you all today!!! Its my turn to post for the Saturated Canary creative team team today so I thought I would share it over here too!!

I was in a desk calendar making kinda mood so I printed out 'Beautiful World' and just let myself go with it!! its so much fun to just do that sometimes, no planning just sticking on whatever you fancy! I am such a messy splodger of a crafter I am actually surprised anything pretty comes out of my fingers!!! and these are so much fun to make too, this one only took me an hour from start to finish!!!

She is coloured with promarkers and the papers and embellies are from the My Minds Eye 'Come away with me' paper pad. Its a gorgeous mix of papers and was very stroke only until I got my hands on it after tea tonight!! alas poor papers...!!!! lol!!!!

The calendar tabs are some do crafts ones I bought from somewhere on my travels...not sure where though but I am guessing a whole tonne of places will do them. I need to swap this one out for a 2014 one soon!!!

Thankyou for popping in!!

Promarkers- Blacks-Warm grey 1-5,
Skin- Burnt orange, coral, sunkissed pink and blush,
Blues- Midnight blue, denim blue and pastel blue,
Reds- burgundy,crimson and poppy,

Antique white flexmarker for the puppy and the whites on the pirates t-shirt.

Morning Peeps!!

Its time for a new challenge this week over on the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog and this week is a super fun one chosen by Julie. It is ...
Give Me a 'P'
(...now if you have 8 year old little boys sat next to you watching you type while they are snuggled up to watch 'The Brave Little Toaster' this challenge title will reduce them into fits of giggles and make them say things like "you need a pee?!!!......sigh.....)

And we are sponsored by the gorgeous Tracy over at Dies to Die For this week!!

I decided to go all boy for my make so you got a super sweet LOTV pirate with his puppy, punches and patterned paper!!! ahhhhhh thank you LOTV for making it soooo easy to get a boy 'p' card (....sigh, more giggles from the 8 year old...." you pee'd on a card mummy?!!!"...)

We are giving Mo this card next monday morning when he starts his new school. The die cut from the paper pad inside say 'good times' on it and I thought that was perfect for him (...you know...jumping off the plank into a new school and all that...romfl!!!) and a little skull and crossbones charm is enough to send any little guy into a happy frenzy!! but seriously having a little bit of something to help settle your nerves on your first day is so important. My awesome night manager Pete at work swapped my shift for me on sunday night so I can be there for Mo when he wakes up in the morning too. I was going to book t as holiday but then he offered me a 4pm-1am shift so I could save my holiday and still be home for a sleep before Mo wakes up. I cannot tell you how awesome it is to have a manager like that.

Right, must get my butt into gear. I have a dog walk to do, blood tests by vampires...I mean the nurse....and fun to be had with my small giggley pants boy!!! today we are making 'Banapple muffins' from my 20 minute meals Weight Watchers book. Its fabulous!! yesterday we had toast with peanut butter and cream cheese spread, with banana on top and sprinkles of chocolate!! YUM!!!!

have an awesome day peeps, Thank you for popping in on me!

Burger Tilda....

Stamp- Burger Tilda.

Morning everyone!!
How are you all this fine monday? Great I hope. I am at work still while this is posting out and will be asleep for most of the day so I hope blogger is playing nice scheduley blogger today!!!!

I have been challenging myself again this weekend and limited myself to just one patterned paper. Boy oh boy that is harder than you think it might be!!! but with a little bit of inking around the edges and layering up it all came together in the end!! and I just had to choose pale blue and red to go with the gorgeous Burger Tilda I had coloured up!!

I popped her up on some silicone when she went on the card just to umpf her out a bit!! she is coloured up with promarkers!!

I was worried nothing was going to come out of my colouring fingers because Mo and school stuff last week had zapped my mojo big time and I was really not feeling the get up and go but it came along just as I was about to give up so you guys got a post to read this morning!! he he he he!!!! I am so so so happy it is half term and I get some squidgy Mo time now! Daddy has him today while I have a good sleep then its Mummy and Mo time all week! super yey!!!

Anyone who knows us and Mo will know that Mo struggles greatly with change so yesterday we took him and Poppy for a good exploring walk around the village where he will be going to school after half term. We had a wonderful time and found a gorgeous walk to go on, Mo and Scott were most impressed at following an old railway track and even more impressed when we found there were still old railway bridges there!! (..I was less impressed that I had worn my super baggy sunday slouchy pants out of the house when they decided they needed photos.......!!!)

Here they are following their google map along the old track....
and here's a couple of Lou, Mo and Poppy under the bridges..

and here's the little guy!!!

Thank you for popping in,

Shabby Saturday!!!!

Good Morning peeps!!!

Over at Funky Hand HQ we thought we would have a bit of a 'Forgotten Funkies' showcase!!! and each month our fabulous Funkette's will be on our Get Funky and Craft inspiration blog showing off some new makes with our older downloads.

Today's showcase is centered all around the stunning Shabby Saturday download. It is full of gorgeous soft pinks and limes and really just quite delicious!!!

Shabby Saturday
I teamed my fabulous papers up with some garden hessian and die cut buttons. Don't forget to pop in on the gorgeous Funkette's post HERE on the Get Funky Inspiration blog.

The last couple of days in our house have been really quite emotional. Many of you will know that Little Mo really struggles with school and recently he has been struggling so much that he has not been sleeping at night ( he is the best sleeper ever so this is a big indicator of a not so happy boy)
Scott and I have been worried about it for quite some time and a couple of things have happened that if his teachers really knew him they would know would really upset Mo because of the way his nerves are, how he panics, and little head works, so we felt it was time to move him to another school and have spent some time this term looking at places that we felt as parents Mo would feel more secure. We did not tell Mo any of this, we just encouraged him to keep trying at his current school.
We finally found the most perfect school for Mo on the recommendation of a friend this week..talk about cutting it fine with half term!!! and I took him to visit on wednesday night and he LOVED it. I took Scott yesterday and he LOVED it so although we are sad at leaving his old school, which is a truly wonderful school but just not right for Mo, we are very very excited about the new school and Mo is over the moon.
Which in turn makes me feel like a very very bad mummy for not changing things sooner and I am so very sad that his current school just didn't work out for him :( there have been lots and lots of mummy meltdown tears and long phonecalls with gorgeous friends to try and sort me out! this has been such a hard, draining and mahoosive decision for us.

So I am so sorry I have not been bloggy visiting like I normally do but I just haven't been able to focus very well on anything at all until this was all sorted. I will be back to my normal nosey selfie over the weekend!!

Huge hugs and thank you's for popping in on me

A scrap page!!

Morning everyone!!

I thought I would share a 12x 12 scrap page I have been working on this morning, after all...papers aren't just for cards!!! :)

I used a few of the papers from the new Boys will be Boys download because they were just such a great match for Mo's angry birds t-shirt!!!
Boys Will Be Boys downloadable backing papers

This photograph was taken when he opened his Harry Potter Bertie Botts everyday flavour beans present from my friend Tracy!! his face was a complete picture!! I love that face!!!

My kraft coloured star is for my journalling but I didn't want to torture you all with my dreadful handwriting so I took a picture of it first!!!

And those super cool little enamel dots?!!! they are awesome aren't they? they were sent to me by the gorgeous Lythan! I love them! and they were just the right colours for me to add them to my page!!

Right I had better get a move on! I need to get Mo enthused about school ( thats just not happening at the moment...sigh!!) and its my mummy's birthday too. Its also my weight watchers weigh in day and I have spent the statutory 10 mins selecting my lightest outfit ready to be weighed! I so want to loose some this week!!!!

Have an wonderful wednesday peeps!

Stinker of a challenge!! he he he!!!

wow!! that was quite a list of links I needed to do there!!! he he he he!!!

Morning peeps!!!

So we are having a little bit of fun over on the Dies to Die For inspiration blog and over on our Facebook page. You might like to join in because there will be a prize of a £10 for the shop for the winner!!!

oooh I hear you say!! what do we need to do to join in???!! well all you need to do is use your goodies from the Dies To Die For shop to alter a tin!!!

Yup!! just a common old sliced peaches tin...or any tin you like as long as it starts off looking as boring as this one I did!! he he he!!!

I keep all my tins, plomp them through a cycle in the dishwasher and then decorate away with a good old sheet of 12x12 double sided paper!! and there is always enough left over for die cutting some fru fru to add to your altered tin like butterflies, hearts, flowers etc.

It really is so much fun. Now I am quick at it because I just splodge a whole load of anything at it but you can take your time because we are going to give you 2 weeks to join in the fun!!

You have until sunday 27th October at 12am GMT to get your makes done and linked in to either the comments on this post or post them on our Facebook page to be in with the chance to win that £10 voucher for the shop.

Please remember to tell us what you used from the shop to qualify for the prize and to help others see which dies/ papers you used!!

I used some papers from the 12x12 random mix bundle I bought ( I tell you that pack is like christmas coming early!! I have had the most gorgeous papers in mine...some stroke only ones too of course!!!) and this one was one of them.

I absolutely love this little stamp, she is Stinker and I adore her!! she has the cutest little face!! I ripped a little tear in my paper and added a little piece behind with a stamped sentiment on and tucked some heart stems in behind it.

Here's a couple more piccies of the finished tin to get you all going....

We can't wait to see what you make!!!

thank you for popping in

...the missing one.....

ok...so I have to confess there was another picture in the tutorial photo's that I didn't include in my last post and one of my gorgeous friends noticed it right away....!! so it was this one above...all I can say is ladies....NEVER trust your husband to take tutorial photos because that guy is just gonna focus on on something else altogether.......

oh and while I am on this track.....this is what happened last night....

..that moment when your 8 yr old shouts you and tells you to come quick because he has found clues...

.....OMG...are they?......

...sigh......yep they are!!!

so I hope you are all smiling right now because these guys are what I live with each day......!! but I wouldn't swap them for a thing!!!

huge hugs Lou xxxx

Are you organised?!!!!

 Hi everyone!

I hope you are all having a wonderful wednesday! I have had a wonderfully busy morning with my mummy!! we have started back at Weight Watchers and then popped in to a couple of charity shops for a womble ( love them, mum got me a pair of next boyfriend style jeans for £3!! bargain!!!!)

So today I wanted to share something a little different that I made with the yummy new Boys will be Boys download. Its a desk organiser for Mo. When I was little we used to make these all the time!!!!!

The pictures explain it all really so I wont waffle on too much for you!!! only to say a wet glue is best so you don't get bubbles in the paper and most importantly....have fun!!!!

Passion for promarkers challenge 219...Snow is falling...

stamp-Merry Christmas penguins from LOTV.
Morning peeps!!

Its time for another challenge over on the passion for promarkers challenge blog and today our challenge was set by Eileen and she chose...

Snow is Falling

and we are sponsored by the ever so swoonalicious Lili of the Valley...
Visit our website

So my uber cute little penguin dudes were coloured up using warm grey 3, 4, and 5. There little beaks and feet are sunflower and pastel yellow and their little cheeks are blush, sunkissed pink and coral. The sign is ivory pastel beige and khaki.

I made them some fluffy wuffy snow with my woodware fluffy stuff. I have had the same little bottle for 3 years now and it just last and lasts!! Then I decided I needed some tim holtz fir tattered fir cone in there too!!!!!! and I added a little bow in between the 2 cones.

I am going to pop this little band of cute guys over in the challenge on the LOTV ideas to inspire blog. Its anything goes this month so a little festive cheer will fit in there nicely!!

Right, I have been at work all night and it would be fair to say that I am utterly pooped out and very much looking forward to a day of sleep!! I am going to get Mo and his little budette Sophia off to school, have a little walk with my furball princess and then hit the hay!!!

Have an awesome day everyone!

Smile....

Papers- MME playdate.
Afternoon peeps!

I am so late popping in here today but I have been poorly all morning :( I didn't even get out of bed until 10:40am which is not like me at all, I am a up and ready by 6am kinda chick so it sucks :(  I am at work tonight so I need to try and get myself better really.

I wanted to join in with the Daring Cardmakers 7 year birthday party challenges. Their picture inspiration for the first challenge of a month of fun is this gorgeous piccy here...
.....so I chose some gorgeous rainbow multi coloured papers from the stunning MME Playdate 6x6 paper pad. The little banners, flower  and 'smile' also come from the pad so I couldn't resist snipping them out and using them too!!

I stamped her onto a piece of cardstock that I had cut out with my Die namics notebook paper die, I LOVE this die!! there's another one in the shop with the edge down the shorter side too, that ones of my neeeeeeeed list!!!

She has some sparkle on her shoes and dress but I didn't get that in the photo too good.

Right I am going to get me a cup of tea and a bit more rest so have a super rest of your sunday everyone!!

Thank you for popping in!
huge hugs Lou xxx
