I know winters looming but I am still in autumn mode!! and I just had to have a play with my Valerie in Autumn digi's from Mo's Digital Pencil, I just love her!! she is so sweet!!

I popped my lace in between the layers of patterned papers, its a big think black lace so I knew it would put up with being with some autumnal coloured papers and black matting!! he he he!! a juicy big bow with a smaller twine bow just to lift it from the background and it was done!

Right time to go and have a cuppa and defrost from morning wombles with the dog!!

Thank you for popping back in

Tiddly Inks challenge 145... Remembrance or Honor...

Image- Poppy.

Morning peeps!! its time for a new challenge over on the Tiddly inks challenge blog and this time we want to see you get your Fairy thing going!! so the next challenge is...

Remembrance or Honor

so grab your favourite Tiddly Inks Fairy stamp or digital image and think along the lines of..
Thank you, thinking of you, remembrance, missing someone

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc

but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image to be eligible for the prize**)

I went for remembrance day with it being a very poignant day today and I was majorly inspired by all the stunning photo's my friends have been sharing of the ceramic poppies at the Tower of London.

I used red vellum and oh boy...that's a delicate one in itself so it really brought home the fragility and meaning of the poppy for remembrance day. And of course, Poppy was the most brilliant choice of image for this challenge too, she is delicate too...fussy cutting her legs was touch and go!!

I carefully painted the frame with acrylic black paint so it stood out a little more that matt black card. Then I cut a zillion (...well it felt like a zillion....!!) little poppies out to decorate around her feet.

This little make will be going to my mummy's house today. Not only was my Step-Daddy a SGT Major in the army and my mummy loves poppies so I know they will both enjoy it.

I'll be back in a bit with my make for the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog.

huge hugs Lou xxx
