DP2 challenge.... Anything Goes with optional critter cuteness!!!

Image- Out There from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Papers- an old freebie from Mo.

Hi everyone!

Its time for a new challenge over on the DP2 challenge blog and this time its a super fun one, chosen by Our lovely hostess Tracy, we have our "Anything Goes" theme as well as the option of creating a "Use a critter on your card" project.

I totally had to go with Out There. I just love it, it so reminds me of my little Mo and Holly dog when she was alive, they went everywhere together and totally adored the beach.

I used an old freebie of Mo's for the paper in this one. I printed it out twice so I could get some pop on that bracket part and cut out the little stars for some pop too!  and just added some little clouds in there and a little twine for fun.

So that's me for today folks!! I get a little longer crafty mamma time today as little Mo is on a school trip to the space centre so I am just playing with a magnolia stamp and my pens .....and wishing the time away to 4:30pm when I can fetch the little guy and hear all about his day!!!

Huge hugs Lou xx

Grunge Love and a Loutorial!!!!!

Image- Grunge Love from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Glitz Distressing clear stamp set.
Morning everyone!!
I hope you are all having a great start to the week. Little Mo is back at school so I had a little play yesterday afternoon after I woke up from my sleep after work and I even made a little Loutorial for you to show you how I did the clear stamping with my digital image.

Its way to easy sometimes to think you have to go for seperate things when working with your digital images, like fully digital backgrounds or fully stamped makes! I love to combine both!! and I bought this little heart splatter stamp from Dies to Die For a couple of weeks ago. I must of sensed some awesome coming out of Mo Manning's head because it was sooooooo perfect for her new image, Grunge Love!!!

So, with no more Lou waffling, here's a lil video Loutorial for you..no spoeaking..I don't like my voice! lol!! its only 1 minute 32 seconds long too! go me!!! I am in no way an expert at videos but its nice to share how you do something incase it inspires just one person xxx

Thank you for popping in
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Captain Hugh.........

Image- Captain Hugh from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Morning everyone out there!!

I hope you are all waking up to a fabulous friday!! Little Mo is busy typing out a newflash on his typewriter so i thought I would sneak into my bloggy to share this little cutie with you all!!

I am always drawn to pirates because Mo adores them! he always has and I think he may possibly always will!! but lets face it..when there's a pirate out there as cool as Captain Hugh from Mo's Digital Pencil you have just got to put him to use!! he he he!!!

I used one of my favorite fonts from Dafont called ' Bleeding Cowboys' for the sentiment which I made up and typed out in word. I love doing that, it makes for so much fun when playing with words for your cards!

A few distressed edges and oh man...that sailors knot took me an age to learn how to do but it looks so cute all the cursing melted right away!! romfl!!!!

We don't really have any plans for today in the family Daubney bubble. Mo and I are still in our pj's and Scott only got dressed because we are out of teabags so he needed to pop to the shop!! lol!! so I think its going to be a chilling day!!

I am sat here chuckling at Mo's little news report he is typing up, its a newflash on the planet Neptune as he has chosen that planet for his school project! its really cute! and totally Mo-ish! I will take a piccy of it for you all when it is done!

Right, off to boil the kettle ready for my teabags return!!

Huge hugs Lou xx

New Home....

Papers- Huge Funky Love from Funky Hand.
Box card file- Home Sweet Home by Lori Whitlock.
Morning all!!
I had a new home card to make for my mum's crisis counselor. She has helped my mum such a lot through her depression that I wanted it to be something a bit special so I hit the Funky Hand papers for my favourite download, Huge Funky Love

The little starry papers are just so pretty. i went for a good old double sided printing session with the pinky ones on one side and the light brown ones on the other side so I could mix and match them around for the different sections of the box.

I used my promarkers to colour up the little house roof and trees an added some ink along the edges of the fence and clouds to make them pop.

Thank you so much for popping in!

First birthdays............

Image- Two Little Lambs from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Papers- DCWV The birthday wishes stack.
Morning all!!

oooooh I do love babies and birthdays!! he he he!! I have a first birthday coming up next week for 2 gorgeous lilttle girlies. I made their welcome to the world card with Mo Mannings Twin Girls so naturally I had to do a bit of begging with Da Boss to get me some new 1 year old ones drawn for their first birthday and oh my golly gosh did she rock it totally!!

How amazingly cute are these little girlies??? like sooooooo cute!!! so they got printed out, coloured and diamond stickled on their dress hems last night, while they were drying their stickles I floofed around on a card base and then whilst Mo has been in his bath this morning I got them finished off with some flowers and cuteness!!! awwwwww!

Now, inside needed to be special, like their first card I wanted their Big Sis and Bro on the inside so......

......However....one did not hide this card quick enough before Mo got out of his bath and saw it and it has now been stolen by Mo for him to give to them!!!! pmsl!! lesson learned for not putting the card in a hiding place quick enough...so I'll just have to colour up these super cuties again for me and Scott to have a card to give!! wohoooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Right, off to dope the boy up with calpol for the day, he has stinky cold and cough back...grrrrrr!! and its a bit of a totally yuck day out there at the minute so we will wrap up cosey and get some fresh air with a little walk around the block when the calpol kicks in. Fresh air is so good for sick little dudes, even if its only a quick 30 min walk and then movie day afterwards!

I have got some butter warming in the kitchen so I can make him so little butterfly fairy cakes this afternoon...no doubt I will get help and the will resemble zombies eyeballs instead but as long as he is having a fun school break I don't mind one little bit!!

Thank you for popping in
huge hugs for you all

Grandad.....

Die- Namics layered hearts.
Afternoon all.

Thought I would quickly pop in today and share the little flowered heart I made for Scott's Grandad funeral on monday and little Mo's fairy garden he made for Grandad.

Nanna had asked that we didn't go overboard with expensive floral arrangements so we bought a beautiful bouquet but I still wanted it to be a little more special for Grandad because he was such a wonderful man. So quiet and gentle and very very loved.

So I did it the only way I know how, I made something. I cut some flowers in happy colours and added them to a hearts base. Then once they were all on, I glued on my vine and added my Grandad along the middle.

Here it is on the bouquet.

Mo went for a fairy garden instead for his flowers. All thought of by himself, right down to the love heart shaped pool. I love this little guy so much.

Please excuse the dog bottoms, roast tates in the tin ready to go in the oven and general mess of my kitchen!!!

Thank you for popping in

Cute a a cupcake!!!

Stamp- Cute as a cupcake sweet tooth by Tiddly Inks.
Papers- errrrr....still thinking on that one!!!!!
Card tutorial- Surprise pop up card.
Morning all!!!

how does monday always squiggle round so fast?!! but I am not complaining this week as its half term break so I have my lil guy at home with me all week and I love that.
He is having a pj morning this morning and relaxing with a bit of tv so thought I would pop in with my make for this week while he is busy. Today is going to be a sad day with the funeral but at least we can feel a little more settled and like we have said goodbye to Grandad properly.

I was in the mood for some fun over the weekend with this make so hit one of my fav places for a fun tutorial and had a play with the surprise pop up card. I love doing things that are a bit different!
Here it is all open with cute as a cupcake just peeking out to see you all!!! I LOVE this!!

Here's a piccy of the whole thing so you can see where the slider goes! isn't it a fun card?!

I used the hearts on a string border to go along the top and the sentiments are just fabulous again! I used one with my little lady and then one for the front of the card when it is closed!
Thank you for popping in

Love you more than coffee...

Image- Love you more than coffee from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Afternoon peeps!!

I am just popping in quick before I go and get changed for work as I am going in at 4pm until 1am today due to needing the day for Scott's Grandad's funeral :( so I am quickly blogging this before I go jump in the shower and get my uniform on.

I managed to get a quick bit of crafty time in with my short sunday though to get this uber fab girl coloured up. I think she's just fab!!

I went uber CAS as she comes with 2 fabulous sentiments! I used one for the outside then on the inside I made her smaller and placed her down in the bottom corner, using the other sentiment for the inside of my card!!!

A little twine and a coffee cup kinda textured heart was all the front needed really.

Right, off to whizz in the shower!
Thank you for popping in,
huge hugs Lou xx

Boy Power!!!

Stamp- My Super Boys clear stamp set from Tiddly Inks.
Paper- Superhero paper set 1 from Carina Gardner.
Evening all!!

well this is a late post for my lil bloggy tonight but we have had a super fun family day and I kinda forgot I had a card to make until around an hour ago so in between driking my cup of tea, facebook wombling and watching the world rally highlights I have managed to redeem myself and get said forgotted card made!! he he he!!

And oh boy is he a cutie!! I absolutely love this lil stamp! he is so perfect for a zillion things and I knew he was the one to turn to when my friend asked for a superhero card and said the lil guy recieving it loved batman!! win win situation with this stamp!!

All fussy cut out and coloured in, he is standing proud and ready for ker-powey battle-ness on some hot glue! I love it because he is safely on and the glue dries soooo good with my new whizzy pen glue gun (...huge thanks to Dawny, En and Kath who MADE me buy it...least thats what I told Scott anyway as it plomped into the amazon basket a few weeks ago!!!)

And what did I do with my gorgeous guys today? well...we went on the sky trail at nottingham watersports centre.....except....my legs completely froze after the 2nd bridge and i just could not brave it any further! totally unexpected! I am a little but dissapointed with myself for that one but at least I managed to get a few piccies of my little spider monkey zooming off to enjoy the fun!! he LOVED it!!! which we were so proud of because his co-ordination is not great but he just whizzed away!!! Scott loved it too but had a hard time keeping up with Mo who was just zooming all over the place! he finally took himself down when it got a bit too busy for his liking but they had had a good hour of it being quite quiet so that was plenty of time!!

Right, off to bed for me now!!

huge hugs and thank you for popping in

Chocolate heart....

Image- Chocolate heart from Mo's Digital Pencil.
** Until Valentines day you can get this cutie for just $1**

Morning all!!

I soooo wanted to post this little cutie last night but alas due to cold UK weather the glossy accent drying conditions were not perfect so (...after pokin' it every 10 mins and saying is it dry yet....) I reluctantly pootled off to bed leaving it half done in its cuteness on my table!!

I was then spurred on to finish it off this morning (..by someone small and 10 saying "ooooooh mumma is this for me? is this mine? is it done yet? can I take it now?" as I was laid in bed...yup...you never saw me get up sooo fast whilst calmly saying "oooh not quite finished yet poppet" and crying inside "don't squish it" in slow motion...y'all can see the scene now right?!!!!!)

So here it is, all soooo uber cute and done and awwwwwww I just loves it!!!!.....and he can have it when he gets home from school since it seems it isn't going to make it in hiding until tomorrow!!!!

Well, its cold and windy here today so I am hunkering down to some crafting and Scott is getting in some catch up with some bits time!!

Have a great day everyone! huge hugs Lou xxx

May............

Papers- My Girl ( american crafts)

Hi everyone!!! its almost hump day!! even more exciting this week as its school out on friday and I can't wait for some extra time with my lil guy!

I had some playtime with May from the new year bundle Krista put together in the Saturated Canary shop. I love her. I coloured her up with my promarkers and added a few white gel pen dots to her hair.

I wanted to create a bit of a different back ground for her, like leopard print but in the colours from my image so I got to work playing with my promarkers in squiggly patches and darker lines, it was sooo much fun! then a good splodge of blender pen to smoosh it all in together and she was good to go! time for some super sweet papers, distressing and layering fun and I was done.

Right got to go, I'm still fighting the lergy so a cuppa and a hot wheaty bag are next on my list before I have some more crafty fun!!

Huge hugs Lou xx
