Just keep swimming!!

Morning peeps!!

Its a lovely sunny day here today so I am going t share this super summery new release from Tiddly Inks! she's so cute!! I went all out bubbly for this one and even added a few little liquid pearl bubbles to come out from her snorkel!! the little sentiment that goes with her so well is from the Floating By clear stamp set.

So I am really excited and proud today too. After a couple of weeks deciding on his charity for this year, Little Mo has decided to help our local RSPCA branch out. I love this little guy!! He has his own little donations page over on just giving, called Little Mo's Big Bike Ride. He has been so excited about the donations he has so far bless him!

He is going to bike all the way to school ( which is 9.2 miles away!!)  Here's his map. He has printed it out so he can stick it on his handle bars!!

And there is a rather large hill he is a bit worried about but Scott has bought him a little bike computer so he can focus on breaking his speed record instead of panicking (....errr...hopefully!!) If you get a little minute please pop in on his page and read his little story, its so Mo, he wrote it himself!!

right, I had better get on with getting ready for school. Scott is having something picked up today so I will be stuck on parcel collection watch, the time slot they gave is poo!!!!!

Thank you for popping in

And it's time for a new challenge!!...this time we thought we would go with something totally fun, you know..the sweet treats and yummy stuff!! the next challenge is...

So Sweet!

Grab your favourite Tiddly Inks stamp or digital image and think along the lines of..

Images/stamps with sweet treats in, chocolate/cakes/sweets/baking,

sweet themed papers/ embellies!

(**remember...We love to see any new creation, a card, 3D project, journal page etc
but you must use a Tiddly Inks stamp or image to be eligible for the prize**)

So, I just had to get out one of the sweetest sweet tooth clear stamps!! I love them! the little sentiments go with them sooooo sweetly! and it looks so cool all stamped up in white onto the black circle! and that cute little sweet into a smaller circle just finished it all off.

I layered up some deliciously dark papers from the Carta Bella All Hallows Eve paper pad. I decided I needed to get a dark twist on the sweet!! he he he!!!

Right, I'll be back in a little while with my Passion For Promarkers post!!....it's a bit of a Tiddly Tuesday for me as thats a tiddly stamp too!! lol!!!

Image- Wynken, Blyken and Nod..
Papers- Studio Calico Atlantic.
Dies- Memory Box Precious stars.
Hi everyone!

Its my turn to post a make over on the Mo's Clubhouse blog and I wanted to share my make in celebration of the gorgeous little Filippo our Franz had a couple of weeks ago.I just had to use Wynken, Blyken and Nod... for my make. It so reminded me of Franz' gorgeous little 3 children, Milla, Niki and Filippo, that I just had to colour it up with 2 boys and a girl in their magical little shoe!! The net is actually beautifully sparkley but as always, getting that photo of sparkle eluded me and after 7 goes I thought 'hey, peeps will know Lou blinged it out!!!!' lol!!

I have had that little starry ribbon in my stash for soo long and I was so pleased to use it for this card. Its so pretty I might need to try and find more of it now!!

Right, enough boring Lou waffle!! I bet y'all are asleep now!!

Thank you for popping in on me today.

Baby and Bunny...

Morning everyone!!

Happy Saturday!!! we are going to have some family bubble time today. I love saturdays, we always make time just to be on a saturday and its the best feeling.

I am popping my card for my gorgeous friend Franz today. Its currently winging its way to her and her family in the mail but I can't wait to share it any longer!! he he he!!

I absolutely loved getting the texture into his soft little blanket, I do it by colouring in just dots and it looks soooo pretty once its done. All I needed to do then was add the personal deets, which I did using word and a little tag from one of my magnolia doo hickey club die sets!

I am also daftly proud of his chubby little cheeks (... the ones on his face  he he he!!!) because I actually managed to get that full little baby cheek look in them!!

Right, I had best pootle on! bubble time is calling me and I have a couple of things to get done first!!

Thank you for popping in

Bunny Love!!!

Afternoon all!!

I thought I would pop in with a make I did a couple of weeks ago. It was for a something and our gorgeous Linda used the same poppy stamps die too so I booted my little bunny card out of the something so you guys get to see it instead!!!... the something of course is the Die Cut Essentials magazine, due out on May 21st. I am spoilt because I have seen the makes from the girls and oooooooooooooh they are delicious!!

I love this banner die but found it a tricky one for a Lou's brain to put into use! lol! so I added some strips of my paper and a couple of the sentiment sheet 'posters' to layer it out with before popping my bunny out on some hot glue over the whole lot!!

I made my little bunny look all textured by dotting on him with my blender pen after he was coloured up! soo cute!!

Thank you for popping in

Baby Fairy with Ladybug....

Image- Baby Fairy with Ladybug from
3 Baby Fairies set.
Paper- First Edition New Leaf.
Dies- Little Darlings Dewdrop circle die set.
Little Darlings Dewdrop border die.

Afternoon peeps!

Its my turn to post over on the Mo's Clubhouse blog today in with a magical baby fairy make to cheer up your weekend! This 3 Baby Fairies set is one of my absolute favorites from the shop, its so sweet.

I coloured this little cutie pie up a few weeks ago and have only just gotten round to attaching him to somethings! it felt soooo good to take a break from the tiling of the bathroom and make a bit of something!

I made a little sentiment on my computer and cut it with a label die and just tucked it in over on the top right. This little cutie really didn't need much more than that.

Right...back to the tiling! just a little bit left to do and then grouting!

Thank you for popping in

Awareness..New release at Tiddly Inks

Image- Awareness from Tiddly Inks.
Papers- ''stars'Past freebie from Tiddly Inks.

ok, so these little guys needed a post all of their own. I am so so so excited about the new release over in the Tiddly Inks store today because for me and my little Mo it is such a very, very special one.

Many of you will know already that Little Mo was diagnosed with autism just over a year ago after receiving the best support ever from his new school at the age of 9.

We have had a huge journey since then, sometimes overwhelming with the news of a genetic change that still has Mo as the only child in the world with a large gain on his chromosome 10 where there would normally be a loss in autistic children. We are taking part in a trial to help people learn more about autism. We've all had various blood tests and other genetic tests, Dr's visits, hospital visits etc but its all been very helpful and the most special and important part is that the school where Mo has been for the past 17 months has been so supportive and so amazing for Mo that it really has changed our lives.

Mo will always struggle with the world that is outside of our house doors, some of it amazing..like the zoo or american sweetie aisles in the shop!! and some of it scary depending on how brave he is feeling, especially school..but with acceptance and support it has all been so much more positive for him. Going out in ear defenders or clear plastic goggles in the norm in our house!!!

So enough Lou waffle, a mamma can never put autism into words! there are so many twists and turns in it!! you just want to see the new images and makes right?!!! so here's another one!!! ...

and here is what you get....linkied right to where you can get it in the store!!!! wohooo! quick! go get 'em! I love that Christy included a girl, it is often forgotten that girls suffer with autism too.
Right, off to get my gorgeous lil guy ready for school. I'll be back again later with my passion for promarkers challenge post.

Feed the birds!!

Hi everyone!!

Its time for me to share another make for Funky Daze month using the Funky Daze original CD ROM. This CD is actually one of my first ever buys from Funky Hand all those years ago!

I used a Silhouette store box cutfile with the Monday's Child colourway. I am still in the super spring celebration mood and these colours were just perfect for the job!! I made a little birdy treats box. This is actually one of my dad's 60th birthday pressies, he LOVES feeding the birds so I thought it was the perfect way to present the seed.

So, whats on the CD you ask?? From the cool blues and greens of Monday Morning to the vibrant pink and black of Saturday shopping you are sure to find a collection of backing papers that will be perfect for your next craft project, papers and wordbooks all ready for you to print and go!!!

Soldier Boy 60th.....

Image- Soldier Boy.

Afternoon Peeps!!

Its my turn to post over on the Mo's Clubhouse blog and it was a super lucky thing too as I used this super duper little Soldier Boy image because today is my fabulous Dad's 60th birthday!!

He was a SGT Major in the British army and Mo is always amazed  by that so when we were sat picking DT images for this month this lil guy came top of my list! (....well...along with like 30 more!! romfl!!!!!!)

I had such fun camouflaging his little jacket up. I used 4 pens and just smooshed them together in little patches! it turned out so cool! I Love it!!

The papers are from one of my oldest stacks, Making Memories Just Chillin' 6x6 pad, I will actually cry real tears when this pad runs out!! lol!!

Right, got to go, I am still feeling a bit ack today but the icky temp I had last night has pootled off...taking all my energy with it!! Scott is busy killing re-modelling Mo's bathroom and Mo is busy with a pile of lego's so I am just going to read and chill on the bed and chat away to them!!

huge hugs and thank you for popping in

Flower- Cherry blossom purple.
Divine twine purple.
Divine twine yellow.
Morning peeps!!!

I have a super fun and zingy card to share this morning and its a good job too because my little blog has been a bit quiet this week with half term fun with little Mo to be had!!! but I did take me some fun time to colour up this little cutie.

I am still very much in cute little chicks and animals mood! I can't help it! I just love spring!! all those new beginnings and fabulous colours just need to be brought in to my cardmaking!!

Here's a little 'done with the flash shot' so you can see the actual blingyness on Chloe's hair. I coloured her up all to do with nature, so she has woodsie colour scheme!!

Right, I must dash! we have the rest of our new windows coming today so I need to clear windowsills and sideboards!!!

Thank you for popping in
